Hawthorne Nursing Home
Hawthorne Nursing Home is registered for 36 adults with or without dementia.
Hawthorne Care Home is located in the former vicarage to St Marks Church in Bestwood village. Its sits in a quiet area between the church and the school, yet is close proximity to public transport routes and local shops.
There is ample parking around the home for your visitors.
There are several places of interest within walking distance of the home Mill Lakes, The Gateway to the Bestwood Country Park, The Winding House, and The Moor Bridge For the quiet moment there is small lounge where you can just appreciate the peace and quiet or take your relatives somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of the home to the above places.
There are numerous locations outside the home, where you can sit admiring the view of the mature trees and landscaped gardens that surround Hawthorne.
The Care Quality Commission (Registration) regulations (2009) required under part 4 (11) that each Care Home compile a written guide to the Care Home, which is referred to in the Regulations as “The Statement of purpose”. In additional, it would seem only right to inform residents and their prospective relatives or representatives about the home, its aims and its philosophy of care.
For ease of reference and to make sure that you are properly informed of what to expect at Hawthorne we have also combined our Statement of Purpose with this Guide. This Guide will hopefully answer many of the practical concerns or questions residents may have when making a choice about living in this Care Home.
